      product: Remote Diagnostic Support API

description: 'CORRECTION. This refined document carries basePath /configurator_tryout/v1, which was
inherited from the Car Configurator source document during the per-tag split. Its operations belong
to the Remote Diagnostic Support API, whose own provider-published Swagger 2.0 document declares basePath
/remotediagnostic_tryout/v1. Evidence: openapi/_original/ — the tags in this document appear only
    in that source spec.'
  update:
    basePath: /remotediagnostic_tryout/v1
- target: $
description: Add the production base path alongside the sandbox one. Mercedes-Benz publishes only the
*_tryout sandbox document; the production path is the same path with the _tryout suffix removed. Recorded
    as a DERIVATION — see sandbox/mercedes-me-sandbox.yml — not as a value read from a Mercedes-Benz document.
  update:
    x-environments:
      sandbox: https://api.mercedes-benz.com/remotediagnostic_tryout/v1
      production: https://api.mercedes-benz.com/remotediagnostic/v1

description: 'Add the API key security scheme the contract describes in prose but does not declare.
Every operation in the source document returns 401 "Failed to resolve API Key query parameter / Invalid
API Key", yet the document carries no securityDefinitions at all, so no machine can discover how to
authenticate. The parameter NAME is deliberately left as a variable: Mercedes-Benz does not publish
it in any machine-readable place we could read, and inventing one would be worse than leaving the
    gap visible.'
  update:
    securityDefinitions:
      MercedesBenzApiKey:

description: Developer-portal API key for the subscribed product, passed as a query parameter.
The exact parameter name is documented only on developer.mercedes-benz.com, which is a client-rendered
SPA and cannot be read by a non-browser client. Obtain it from the product page before use.
