title: API Evangelist enhancements for API League — Storage
  version: 1.0.0
extends: openapi/api-league-storage-openapi.yml
x-provenance:
  generated: '2026-09-02'
  method: generated
source: openapi/_original/api-league-openapi.json (verbatim harvest from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ddsky/api-league-clients/master/apileague-openapi-3.json)
note: Enhancements only. The harvested contract is never mutated — this Overlay records what API Evangelist adds
on top of it. The provider spec declares no components.schemas and no tags[] block, so the tag description and
the runtime-semantics extensions below are additions, not corrections.

  update:
description: API League production host. No version segment — the contract is unversioned in transport.
- target: $.components.securitySchemes.apiKey
  update:
description: API key in the query string. Documented by the provider, but the weaker of the two transports —
keys in URLs are recorded in proxy logs, browser history and referrer headers. Prefer headerApiKey.
- target: $.components.securitySchemes.headerApiKey
  update:
description: API key in the x-api-key request header. The recommended transport for agents and servers.
