title: API Evangelist enhancements for Ant Media Server REST API Reference Broadcasts API
  version: 1.0.0
extends: ant-media-broadcasts-api-openapi.yml
x-provenance:
  generated: '2026-09-02'
  method: generated
source: Authored by API Evangelist from https://docs.antmedia.io/ and live probes 2026-09-02. Applies on top of the vendor
spec; the vendor spec is never mutated.
actions:
- target: $.servers
description: Ant Media ships servers[] pointing at https://test.antmedia.io:5443/Sandbox/rest/, which returns HTTP 404 (probed
2026-09-02). The demo application that actually answers is /LiveApp/. This overlay adds the working demo base and a templated
self-hosted base without removing the vendor value.
  update:
  - url: https://test.antmedia.io:5443/LiveApp/rest/
description: Ant Media public demo server, verified 200 on /v2/version 2026-09-02
  - url: https://{ant-media-server}:5443/{application}/rest/
description: Self-hosted instance. Base form published in the JWT REST API Filter guide.
    variables:
      ant-media-server:
        default: your-ant-media-server
description: Hostname or IP of your Ant Media Server
      application:
        default: LiveApp
description: Name of the deployed application, e.g. LiveApp or WebRTCAppEE
- target: $.components.securitySchemes
description: The published specs declare no securitySchemes at all, though the docs document JWT bearer auth on the application
REST API and a ProxyAuthorization JWT plus a JSESSIONID session on the management API. This overlay states the auth model
    the documentation defines.
  update:
    jwtRestApiFilter:
      type: http
      scheme: bearer
      bearerFormat: JWT
description: JWT signed HS256 with the secret configured in the JWT REST API Filter. Disabled by default; the IP filter
        is the default protection. https://docs.antmedia.io/guides/developer-sdk-and-api/rest-api-guide/jwt-rest-api-filter/
- target: $.info
description: Record that the failure signal in this API is the Result body, not the HTTP status.
  update:
    x-error-envelope:
      schema: Result
      fields:
      - success
      - message
      - dataId
      - errorId
note: Most operations declare only HTTP 200. A failure normally arrives as 200 with success=false. Clients MUST read
        Result.success. See errors/ant-media-problem-types.yml.
    x-rate-limits:
      published: false
note: No rate-limit headers, no 429, no published quota. See rate-limits/ant-media-rate-limits.yml.
    x-reversibility:
      see: conventions/ant-media-conventions.yml
- target: $.paths['/v2/broadcasts'].delete
description: Flag the bulk delete as irreversible — there is no restore operation anywhere in the contract.
  update:
    x-irreversible: true
    x-reversal: null
- target: $.paths['/v2/broadcasts/create'].post
description: Record the reversal path and window for broadcast creation.
  update:
    x-reversal:
      operationId: deleteBroadcast
window: unbounded — no documented retention period
