Verdaccio Finops

Verdaccio is open-source software with no licensing cost. All FinOps considerations relate to the infrastructure required to self-host it. Cost optimization focuses on right-sizing compute and storage, leveraging container orchestration for efficient resource use, and measuring the value of reduced upstream bandwidth through caching. This document applies the FinOps Framework 1.0 FOCUS-aligned principles to self-hosted Verdaccio deployments.
