Dash Finops

FOCUS-aligned FinOps view of Dash API consumption. The Insight REST and WebSocket API and the Dash Platform DAPI are free open-source services — there are no API subscription fees. Billable costs arise from two sources: (1) Dash network transaction fees paid in DASH when broadcasting Core transactions or Platform state transitions, and (2) infrastructure costs when self-hosting dashcore-node + insight-api. All cost telemetry must be reconstructed from on-chain data (DASH spent on fees) and cloud infrastructure invoices for self-hosted nodes.

Dash Finops is the FinOps profile for Dash on the APIs.io network, aligned with the FinOps Foundation Framework.

It defines 7 billable meters, billed in DASH (network fees); USD (infrastructure), on a per-transaction (network fees); monthly (infrastructure) cycle, and pricing category network fee (variable) + infrastructure (self-hosted).
