Adafruit Io Finops

Adafruit IO uses a simple flat-subscription billing model. The Free tier costs nothing and is bounded by hard quota limits (30 data points/minute, 30 days retention, 10 feeds, 5 dashboards, 5 actions). The Plus tier costs $10/month or $99/year (a ~17% annual discount) and removes most quota caps. There is no per-call or per-data-point metering and no overage billing — exceeding the rate cap simply causes throttling. Adafruit IO does not publish a FOCUS-conformant Cost-and-Usage export; FinOps reporting is limited to the in-product activities log (/api/v2/{username}/activities) and the account-level subscription record.
