University of Vienna Shibboleth Identity Provider

The university's SAML 2.0 identity provider, entityID https://weblogin.univie.ac.at/shibboleth, registered in the ACOnet Austrian research and education federation and propagated to eduGAIN. Its IDPSSODescriptor and mdui DisplayNames ('Universitat Wien' / 'University of Vienna') were read directly out of the federation aggregate at https://eduid.at/md/aconet-registered.xml (200, application/samlmetadata+xml, 253 entities). Vienna also registers the service provider https://wiki.univie.ac.at/shibboleth. Identity federation is institution-operated by definition, is machine-readable, and is almost never catalogued - this repository did not record it before 2026-08-30. The IdP's own /idp/shibboleth metadata path returns 403 to our client; the entity is published through the federation aggregate instead.
