University of Liverpool Repository EPrints REST

Keyless, read-only EPrints REST interface on the institutional repository. Verified live 2026-09-01: GET /rest/ returns 200 listing the eprint, user and subject datasets, and GET /rest/eprint/ returns 200 with 7,456,493 bytes enumerating every eprint id in the repository — no key, no token, no registration. The equivalent path on DataCat is configured differently: GET https://datacat.liverpool.ac.uk/rest/ returns 200 but the item fetch /rest/eprint/2481.xml returns 401, so the two EPrints deployments do not share an access posture. As with the OAI-PMH interface, the contract is the EPrints product's and is not saved here; the deployment and the data are the institution's.
