The University of Liverpool Library operates an ORCID member integration through the Jisc-run UK ORCID consortium, sending affiliation invitations to research staff and PGR students via the ORCID Affiliation Manager and syncing publications between ORCID and the Liverpool Elements CRIS. Verified 2026-09-01: the ORCID public API returns 13,225 records carrying "University of Liverpool" as an affiliation, and the library documents the programme at https://libguides.liverpool.ac.uk/blog/ORCID-Affiliation-Project (200) and https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/open-research/researcher-profiles/orcid/ (200). Registry membership, not a Liverpool contract — ORCID's API is ORCID's.
