University of Exeter Shibboleth Identity Provider

Exeter operates its own SAML 2.0 Shibboleth identity provider with entityID https://elibrary.exeter.ac.uk/idp/shibboleth. The IdP publishes its own metadata directly (200, application/xml, 10,370 bytes) advertising SSO over HTTP-Redirect, HTTP-POST, POST-SimpleSign and SOAP/ECP bindings plus SLO and artifact resolution, with mdui:DisplayName and OrganizationName both "University of Exeter". The same entity is served as signed metadata by the UK Access Management Federation MDQ and, via eduGAIN interfederation, by InCommon's MDQ. This is institution-operated by definition - the federation is shared, the IdP behind it is Exeter's - and is the strongest machine-readable surface the institution runs. It is federation infrastructure, not a self-service developer API.
