OpenAPI Specification

tcgdata-dev-prices-api-openapi.yml Raw ↑
openapi: 3.2.0
info:
title: tcgdata.dev — multi-game and daily history Prices API
  version: 1.0.0
description: 'Six catalogues, current EUR prices, mixed-game batches, daily history and authenticated images. One admitted HTTP call consumes one request, including the entire batch, image downloads, usage and admitted errors. All keys/games share monthly, UTC-daily and minute request limits. Verified eligible accounts receive a one-time free test: 500 requests for 30 days, one active key, 10 requests per minute and batches of 10 IDs. Free budgets never renew; resets_at is the expiry. Expired tests return trial_expired with a Starter upgrade suggestion. Starter/Growth batches allow 100 supplied IDs; Scale allows 200, before deduplication. New accounts use monthly activation-anniversary periods in UTC, clamping the anchor day in shorter months. Migrated accounts retain calendar-month periods. Upgrades and new keys never reset usage. No automatic overage billing. Every JSON/image response is capped at 1 MiB; diagnostic heavy/image counters and the defensive byte ceiling do not introduce smaller commercial allowances. Deprecated X-Credits-* headers alias X-Requests-*; raw usage.credits is historical telemetry, not a spending budget. v1 history allows 1–90 UTC calendar days, with explicit gaps; Magic six-metric history begins 2026-09-28. Full is default; compact/select reduce payloads. The current request model replaces the earlier per-card metering. Clients fetch authenticated image paths server-side with Bearer authentication. Authenticated month/day/minute limit responses include an upgrade suggestion; usage returns the suggestion on its last permitted call, otherwise upgrade is null. Published-plan suggestions link to the account page and activate automatically after Stripe confirms payment. Custom access requires a separate agreement and manual activation. Opening a suggestion never charges or changes access. Examples are synthetic; replace placeholder IDs with values returned by the catalogue. Available history and metadata do not guarantee complete source coverage.'
