Operations 4

Each operation below carries the questions people ask an LLM about it and the instructions they give an agent to run it. Generated by API Evangelist overlay

POST /calling/callConnections Place an outbound call · Microsoft Azure Create An Outbound Call #

Ask an LLM

“How do I place an outbound phone or VoIP call from my Communication Services app?”

“Can I stream call media while making an outbound call?”

Tell an agent

Call {targets} from {source} and send call events to {callbackUri}.

Start an outbound call to {targets} with media streaming config {mediaStreamingConfiguration}.

POST /calling/callConnections:answer Answer an incoming call · Microsoft Azure Answer A Call #

Ask an LLM

“How do I answer an incoming call that arrived through Event Grid?”

“Can my app pick up a call and receive its events on my own webhook?”

Tell an agent

Answer the incoming call {incomingCallContext} and send events to {callbackUri}.

Pick up incoming call {incomingCallContext}.

POST /calling/callConnections:redirect Redirect an incoming call · Microsoft Azure Redirect A Call #

Ask an LLM

“Can I forward an incoming call to another participant instead of answering it?”

“What do I need to redirect a ringing call to a different target?”

Tell an agent

Redirect incoming call {incomingCallContext} to {target}.

Forward the ringing call to {target} without answering it.

POST /calling/callConnections:reject Reject an incoming call · Microsoft Azure Reject The Call #

Ask an LLM

“How do I decline an incoming call in my calling app?”

“Can I give a reason such as busy when rejecting a call?”

Tell an agent destructive · confirm first

Reject incoming call {incomingCallContext}.

Decline incoming call {incomingCallContext} with reason {callRejectReason}.
