GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.ApiManagement/service/{serviceName}/certificates List certificates on the service · Microsoft Azure API Management Certificate_ListByService #

Ask an LLM

“Which certificates are uploaded to my API Management service?”

“Can I see all the backend authentication certificates on my instance?”

Tell an agent

Show me the certificates available for backend authentication.

HEAD /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.ApiManagement/service/{serviceName}/certificates/{certificateId} Get a certificate's ETag · Microsoft Azure API Management Certificate_GetEntityTag #

“Can I read a certificate's ETag without downloading its details?”

“Does a certificate with a given ID exist on my service?”

Tell an agent

Confirm this certificate exists from its entity state header.

GET /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.ApiManagement/service/{serviceName}/certificates/{certificateId} Get a certificate's details · Microsoft Azure API Management Certificate_Get #

Ask an LLM

“How do I check a certificate's subject, thumbprint and expiry?”

“When does a particular certificate on my service expire?”

Tell an agent

Get the thumbprint and expiry of certificate {certificateId} in service {serviceName}.

Show me this certificate's thumbprint and expiration date.

PUT /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.ApiManagement/service/{serviceName}/certificates/{certificateId} Upload or replace a backend certificate · Microsoft Azure API Management Certificate_CreateOrUpdate #

Ask an LLM

“How do I upload a certificate API Management uses to authenticate to my backend?”

“Can I replace an existing backend certificate with a new one?”

Tell an agent

Upload a backend authentication certificate as {certificateId} to service {serviceName}.

Replace this certificate with a newer one.

DELETE /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.ApiManagement/service/{serviceName}/certificates/{certificateId} Delete a certificate · Microsoft Azure API Management Certificate_Delete #

“How can I remove a certificate from my service?”

“Is deleting a backend certificate permanent?”

Tell an agent destructive · confirm first

Remove this certificate from API Management.

POST /subscriptions/{subscriptionId}/resourceGroups/{resourceGroupName}/providers/Microsoft.ApiManagement/service/{serviceName}/certificates/{certificateId}/refreshSecret Refresh a certificate from Key Vault · Microsoft Azure API Management Certificate_RefreshSecret #

Ask an LLM

“How do I pull the latest version of a Key Vault certificate into API Management?”

“Can I make the service pick up a rotated certificate from Key Vault right away?”

Tell an agent

Refresh certificate {certificateId} from Key Vault on service {serviceName}.

Re-sync this Key Vault-backed certificate so the backend uses the new secret.
