Georgia Tech Shibboleth Identity Provider (InCommon)

Georgia Tech's own SAML 2.0 / Shibboleth identity provider, entityID https://idp.gatech.edu/idp/shibboleth, registered in the InCommon federation and reachable through its per-entity metadata service. Verified 2026-09-01: InCommon MDQ returns 200 application/samlmetadata+xml (9,062 bytes, signed) with mdui:DisplayName "Georgia Institute of Technology", shibmd:Scope gatech.edu, an IDPSSODescriptor and an AttributeAuthorityDescriptor; the IdP publishes the same metadata directly at https://idp.gatech.edu/idp/shibboleth (200 text/xml); and https://idp.gatech.edu/idp/profile/SAML2/Redirect/SSO returns 400 to a bare GET, which is a live Shibboleth IdP rejecting a malformed AuthnRequest. A federation is shared by definition — the IdP behind it is Georgia Tech's.
