Starting in 2023, Flipboard began federating its magazines and curators via ActivityPub, allowing users on Mastodon, Threads, Pixelfed, and other ActivityPub-compatible platforms to follow and interact with Flipboard content. Flipboard's full architecture is built around ActivityPub.
