Errors: every error is JSON {error:{code,message,retryable,request_id}} with an X-Request-Id header. Branch on error.code and error.retryable.
Retries: paid calls are idempotent per PAYMENT-SIGNATURE (same signature, stored result, never a second charge); authenticated writes take an Idempotency-Key header.
Rate limits: per-minute limits per caller (x-rate-limit on each operation); over the limit you get 429 with Retry-After. Pagination: list endpoints are not paginated and return at most 100 items.'
