Your listing
The surface a company uses on its own entry in the catalog: claiming it, asking for the artifacts it is being marked down for not having, correcting what we say, and changing how visible it is. Every operation is a request worked by a person.
Ask to claim a listing as yours.
Returns a token and the hosts it will be checked against. Publish it as a DNS TXT record on one of those hosts, or as a file at /.well-known/apis-io-challenge, and leave it up — a person verifies it and emails you. There is nothing else to call. The hosts come from the website we hold for you, never from anything sent in the request, so a claim cannot be pointed at a domain the claimant already controls.

Received, not completed. Every request on this surface is worked by a person — a check means re-profiling you and re-running the enrichment pipeline, a claim means someone confirming a record you published is really yours, a generated artifact is one we have looked at before sending. None of those can be done in the time it takes to answer a request, so the response says so rather than implying otherwise with a 200.
receivedAlways true. The request is in the queue.
completedAlways false. A person still has to do the work.

detailRequest an artifact you are being marked down for not having.
A person generates it against your live surface, checks it, and sends it to you. NOTHING IS PUBLISHED ON YOUR BEHALF — your score moves when you commit the file to your own repo. apis-json and agent-card are built from your catalog record; mcp and arazzo from the operations we have already parsed; rules is a Spectral ruleset scoped to the checks you are currently failing; scopes and security are read out of your live OpenAPI.

Name, description, url, industries and tags. Applied by a person, not on the call: an API that let an owner rewrite their own description unreviewed would be a marketing surface rather than a catalog. Score and band are NOT settable this way and are ignored if sent.

"You say we lack X, here it is." Send the claim in words and a URL that evidences it; a person fetches your evidence, checks it against what we hold, and emails you either way. Open to any paying caller rather than verified owners only — you should not have to prove ownership before you can tell us our data is wrong.

restricted keeps a name, a description and a link to your own site, unrated and out of every ranked view. delisted removes you from the catalog entirely. Applied by a person: it strips artifacts, pages and rollups across the network, which is not an irreversible change to make on one API call.
