Oracle Perform an action on an instance

Performs an action on the specified instance, such as starting, stopping, resetting, or soft-resetting the instance. The STOP action is equivalent to pressing the power button. The SOFTRESET action gracefully reboots the instance by sending an ACPI shutdown and then powering back on.
