Velocity was an Israeli DevOps / site-reliability-engineering startup that helped engineering teams move faster — originally by letting developers spin up on-demand, fully isolated, production-like development environments, and later by applying AI to automate SRE and major-incident-response workflows so engineers could focus on solving problems instead of chasing alerts. On November 10, 2025 Velocity was acquired by BigPanda (the Insight Partners-backed agentic AIOps / IT operations company) to accelerate its AI Detection and Response product; founder and CEO Tal Kain joined BigPanda as VP of AI Detection and Response. The velocity.tech domain now redirects to bigpanda.io and Velocity no longer operates an independent public developer surface, API, or documentation portal.
