DUST Identity (Newton, Massachusetts; founded 2018 as an MIT spinout) binds physical objects to trusted digital records using the Diamond Unclonable Security Tag — an applied coating of engineered nano-diamonds in a polymer matrix that forms an unclonable optical fingerprint.
