Chroma Db Plans Pricing
Chroma has two consumption models. The core Chroma server is open source (Apache 2.0) and free to self-host with no license fee - your only cost is the infrastructure you run it on. Chroma Cloud is the managed, serverless offering billed on usage. Cloud tiers observed on the pricing page: a Starter plan at $0/month with free credits, a Team plan with a monthly base plus usage, and a custom Enterprise plan. Cloud usage is metered on data written, data stored, data queried, and network egress rather than on a fixed per-request price.
Chroma Db Plans Pricing is the machine-readable pricing-plan profile for Chroma on the APIs.io network, conforming to the API Commons Plans specification.
It defines 4 plans, covering free, usage, and enterprise tiers, with named plans including Open Source (Self-Hosted), Chroma Cloud - Starter, Chroma Cloud - Team, Chroma Cloud - Enterprise.
Tagged areas include Vector Database, Embeddings, Vector Search, Open Source, and Plans.
