NHR@FAU — the Erlangen National High Performance Computing Center, hosted by FAU — runs ClusterCockpit at monitoring.nhr.fau.de as the job-specific performance monitoring service for its clusters, alongside an HPC portal at portal.hpc.fau.de and documentation at doc.nhr.fau.de. Verified live on 2026-08-30: https://monitoring.nhr.fau.de/api/jobs/ returns HTTP 401 with the JSON body {"error":"no user for secured check","status":"Unauthorized"} — a real REST API answering, not a web page. ClusterCockpit is MIT-licensed software with its own published REST and GraphQL contract at github.com/ClusterCockpit; that product specification is NOT saved in this repository, because it is a multi-site product spec and saving it here would inflate FAU's apparent footprint with a document other HPC centres also run. What is recorded is the institutional fact: FAU operates a credentialed research-computing API for its national HPC users.
