An entitlement includes metadata about a marketplace purchase (start date, end date, billing information, partner IDs, etc). The API allows partners to create, read, and list entitlements. (Unless you need entitlement creation and customer registration to be separate, we recommend using the Signup API to create an organization and entitlement at the same time) The API only allows authorized partners to interact with the Entitlements API.
