Spillway is an open-source, self-hosted AI gateway written in TypeScript, distributed as a single Docker container with an admin UI and SQLite storage. It accepts OpenAI, Anthropic, and Ollama request formats and translates between them, including streaming and tool calls. It issues a key per person, device, or agent with daily and monthly spend limits, supports team budgets and routing rules that can send traffic to a local model at a budget threshold, on provider failure, or outside working hours, masks personal data in its request log, and includes OpenID Connect single sign-on. Licensed AGPL-3.0-only; first released as v0.1.0 in October 2026.
